Comment to this entry and I'll pick three of your fandoms. You must then update your journal and answer the following questions:
01) What got you into this fandom in the first place?
02) Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
03) Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
04) Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
05) Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

1. I didn't watch this show when it first started, because I didn't much like Dave Chappelle's movies that much, and I thought the show would be stupid like one of those UPN shows (remember Homeboys From Outer Space)? Then I heard a lot of people saying good things about it, so I started watching it. I couldn't believe not only how funny it was, but how smart it was too; it was better than any of Dave Chappelle's movies (even Half-Baked)! I used to be really obsessed with the Sam Jackson beer skit in particular; IT'S MY BEER!!!!!!
2. I haven't really watched this show in quite a while, not even in reruns.
3. The aforementioned Sam Jackson beer. The one with the black, blind KKK member was pretty good too.
4. Nah, not interested enough any more.
5. If you have never seen this show, I would highly recommend checking out the DVDs.

1. The first Kevin Smith movie I watched was Mallrats, and I thought it was funny as hell. Then I found out more about him, and discovered he was a huge comic book geek, which made me even more interested. I think I really became a fan around the time he did the Jay & Silent Bob comic, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I still follow his career, even if I didn't like Jersey Girl much.
2. As long as he doesn't make Jersey Girl 2, I'll still be a big fan. :)
3. Hmm...I think I like Dogma the best out of all of them. Clerks 2 was great too.
4. I used to read the official View Askew boards a lot, I don't read them as much anymore.
5. Hells to the yes. He's a genius.

1. I heard a lot of great things about this book for years, but I didn't start reading it until I heard somebody I worked with say it was really great. I read it, and I couldn't believe I read a comic that was this awesome, especially one about superheroes. It made me wish there were more superhero comics out there like this, and I think that it, along with Maus, is the greatest graphic novel I've ever read.
2. Are you kidding? This book is a classic...I'll always love it! I thought the movie was great too.
3. My favorite issues were the last two. The ending was phenomenal!
4. Other than geeking out with Phoebe, not really. I am looking forward to the directors cut of the movie coming out on Blu Ray in July.
5. No spelled Y-E-S. I would recommend the book or movie to just about anyone.
